A block plaster mason (sometimes spelled plaster mason) is a tradesperson who specializes in finishing and protecting walls

ceilings

and sometimes exterior surfaces by applying plaster

stucco

or similar coating materials—often over blockwork or masonry.

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation
• Mixing and Applying Plaster
• Finishing Work Creating smooth
• textured
• or decorative finishes depending on project requirements. Sometimes incorporating designs
• moldings
• or protective weather-resistant coatings.
• Repair and Maintenance Patching damaged plaster
• repairing moisture damage
• and restoring older surfaces to their original appearance.
